Ethernet

The Ethernet network protocol is based on the combination of a data packet (Frame) in connection with a checksum, which is created by the sender and checked by the Receiver. In the case that the checksum received does not correspond to the calculated one, the data block is discarded and a new one requested. Integrated collision detection allows excellent data transmission if more operators are involved.
